I have had mods here remove my posts before for sharing them but pm me if you wanna see what the lessons look like. I found their tarot lessons really useful but ultimately decided I didn't want to pay monthly for a correspondence course that would take 3+ years to go through. They have a pamphlet called The Open Door which is pretty explicit in stating their purpose. There is no coercion or high pressure to recruit or remain in. I don't know whether they were true or not because I never participated but their have been allegations that gay people were only allowed to advance so far because they were considered unbalanced. Its basically a correspondence course but there is a working in person group (or at least there is during non-covid times). Then after Paul foster case died Ann Davies took over and added some of her own original teachings which I find much less useful. BOTA basically started as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn but with the Enochian magic stripped out. I joined for awhile, I guess I'm still a member but I stopped paying dues. ![]() ![]() No but its definitely a spiritual school of thought that incorporates tarot and not just a tarot class.
